Clear the Curb - Curbside Bulky Trash Collection
Beginning February 14, 2022, residents of Prince George's County can put out up to two items of regular bulky trash, with your regular trash collection - no appointment needed! Acceptable items: Doors, cabinets, furniture, carpet and padding, hot water heater, push lawn mowers, or two (2) large bags of smaller household items.
*Scrap tires, refrigerators, air conditioners, washers, dryers, and other lapplicances, will still need to be scheduled for pick the PG311.
Prince George's County Curbside Organic Composting Program
Prince George's County is offering you the opportunity to participate in the curbside collection of food scraps and receive a County issued 32-gallon wheeled organic cart, a 2-gallon kitchen countertop pail, a refrigerator magnet and informational materials. The cart must be used for your weekly scrap collection.
To participate in the program visit www.toter.com/princegeorgescounty/ and use the the verification code: 57291. Only residents choosing to opt-in the Curbside Organics Program will receive a wheeled organic cart.
Yard Trim Collection
Weekly curbside collection of yard trim is collected year-round by the County. Yard trim includes grass clippings, leaves, small branches, brush, Christmas trees, and now, food scraps. Please note, that residential curbside yard trim collection is no longer accepted in plastic bags.
