Perrywood Manor HOA

OUR MANAGEMENT COMPANY

The management company for Perrywood Manor is D. H. Bader Management Services, Inc. Tasked with the oversight of the entire community, D. H. Bader works under the direction of the Board and serves all Perrywood owners and residents. A representative of D. H. Bader attends the monthly Board meetings and is available to help with homeowner questions and concerns at any time.

A management company provides many important services to our Association. Management services include: providing a monthly management report which documents current projects, notable activities and important communications, responding to homeowner requests, verifying and sending violations letters, reporting issues of concern to the Board, providing monthly financial statements and Association transactions, soliciting contract bids and proposals, processing Request for Change Forms, sending out quarterly dues statements and processing assessments. The management company is also responsible for filing federal and state taxes, renewing Association insurance, and scheduling annual audits and reserve studies.

HOA FEES

Residence can now pay HOA dues online through our portal account at https://portal.dhbader.com. You will need unique credentials that was provided to all residence in order to setup the account. If you did not receive it or need any assistance, please contact:

Members of the board of directors operate under the bylaws laid out when the homeowners association was formed. The board forms policies for the community, and the board members carry them out.  The responsibility of the individual board members may include: Establishing fiscal policies and maintiaining good records; developing a budget and acting on it; setting aside reserve funds for large purchases; establishing and enforcing rules and penalities for the association; ensuring the bylaws adhere to local laws; selecting resources for the association, like attorneys, insurance agents, and accountants; ensure that all board members are aware of major decisions and voting schedules.

D.H. Bader Management Services Celebrates 30 Years!

As the owner and founder of D.H. Bader Management Services, I am proud to announce that we have reached a major milestone in the history of our company. On July 1, 2021 we celebrated 30 years of successfully managing community associations in Prince George’s, Howard, Montgomery, and Charles Counties in Maryland!

I take this occasion to thank each of you for being a part of our company’s longevity and success.

What began as a one- person operation in my home office to our current twelve- person team in our office in Laurel, MD, we are grateful for all our dedicated and loyal staff members both past and present.

Without the support of our excellent team, we would never have come this far. Every one of our staff members play a very important role in the success of our company. Your enthusiasm, support and dedication have brought us to this milestone, and I shall ever remain indebted to the contributions of our employees both past and present.

We sincerely appreciate our community association clients, especially those who have worked with us since we began in July 1991.

We are grateful to our clients and customers who trusted in us to provide excellent management services for its communities. Their demands, challenges and feedback have motivated us to learn, grow, and continuously improve.

HOA Committees

Our committees are volunteer community members appointed to consider, investigate, take action on, or report on some matter.  The committees work closely with the Board and Community Management Company to ensure issues are being addressed in a timely manner and the appropriate resources are available to resolve the matter.  Anyone interested in serving on a committee please contact the Board at Board@perrywoodmanorHOA.com.

Architectural Review Committee
The main role of the Architectural Review Committee is to ensures that any exterior changes that a homeowner requests are reviewed to ensure that they are in compliance with the Perrywood Manor HOA guidelines.  In Spring, we inspect all houses, looking for maintenance issues or changes that are not in compliance.  Homewoners are then notified in writing of any violations and given adequate time to correct the maintenance issue and/or request approval of unapproved changes.  The Architectural Review Committee's mission is to enssure we continue to live in an attractive and well maintained community. 

Environmental & Safety Committee
Ensures community is protecting its residence from natural disaster by ensuring no harm will come to residence due to some natural or environmental impact.

Grounds Committee
Ensures common grounds are regularly maintained and aesthetically pleasing monitor residences lawns are maintained in-line with community bylaw

Historic Committee
Ensures residence are informed about historical impact to community and contribute to the historic research of community.

Nominating Committee
To identify potential candidates to serve on the Board of Directors; identify best candidates; agree on a set of nominees and then determine their willingness to serve. 

Planning Committee
Ensures community is developing to maintain the value of residence homes and keeping abreast of area developments making sure the community upkeeps beautification and modernization projects.
